We carried out a 140m2 extension to this pub whilst it remained open. The works included a new Ladies, Gents & Disabled toilets, new Function Room, and refurbishment to the existing bar area, kitchen staff area and existing toilets.

 

The existing staff accommodation was refurbished and extended from 1 apartment to 2 apartments and we then built 2 new apartments above the pub as well. The work involved extensive design input from us throughout the build process as we were working off planning drawings instead of construction drawings. The scope included renewable energy (PV panels) on the top floor roof together with all sound testing, air permeability testing, EPC's, energy & water assessments, SAP calculations, acoustic report, and fire safety management plan.

 

Traditional building methods were used in the external envelope construction and additional insulation was installed to the existing external walls and loft to ensure they complied with the building regulations.
